Purchase, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Plano Heat and Air provides HVAC equipment as part of a professionally installed system or through equipment ordered specifically for your project.
All equipment is ordered new from authorized distributors and selected based on your home's requirements, system sizing, electrical compatibility, and local code considerations.
Because HVAC systems are custom-matched and scheduled for installation, we encourage all customers to carefully review their quote and ask questions prior to purchase.

Order Cancellations & Refund Eligibility
Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of purchase, or any time before the equipment is installed, whichever occurs first.
Once the equipment has been installed in the home, the order becomes final and non-refundable.
If a cancellation is approved:
- Credit card processing fees are non-refundable
- Any costs already incurred (including equipment procurement, staging, or scheduling fees) may be deducted from the refund
After Installation – Warranty in Place of Refunds
Once equipment has been installed:
- Refunds are no longer available
- Any post-installation issues will be addressed through the applicable warranty, not through returns or refunds
Customers may submit warranty claims for:
- Non-functioning or failed components
- Manufacturer-covered defects
All systems include a manufacturer parts warranty, and some systems may also include a labor warranty, depending on the equipment and installation package selected.
Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by manufacturer and product. Customers are responsible for reviewing the specific warranty terms provided with their equipment.
Plano Heat and Air will assist with the warranty claim process when applicable.
Installation-Related Concerns
If an issue is believed to be related to workmanship:
- Please notify Plano Heat and Air within 48 hours of installation
- Verified installation-related issues will be corrected in accordance with our workmanship standards and applicable coverage
Exchanges
HVAC systems cannot be exchanged once installed.
If a change is requested prior to installation, we will revise the quote and scheduling accordingly.
