Before You Purchase
Plano Heat and Air provides HVAC equipment as part of a professionally installed system or through equipment ordered specifically for your project.

All equipment is ordered new from authorized distributors and selected based on your home's requirements, system sizing, electrical compatibility, and local code considerations.

Because HVAC systems are custom-matched, ordered, and scheduled for installation, we strongly encourage all customers to carefully review their quote and ask questions prior to purchase.

Order Cancellations & Refund Eligibility
Customers may cancel their order within 14 days of purchase, or any time before the equipment is installed, whichever occurs first.

Once the equipment has been installed in the home, the order becomes final and non-refundable.

If a cancellation is approved:
Credit card processing fees are non-refundable
Any costs already incurred (including equipment procurement, staging, logistics, or scheduling fees) may be deducted from the refund
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of cancellation approval

Plano Heat and Air reserves the right to decline cancellation requests if equipment has already been ordered, allocated, or prepared for installation.

After Installation – Warranty in Place of Refunds
Once equipment has been installed, refunds, returns, or exchanges are not available.

Any post-installation issues will be handled through applicable manufacturer warranties and/or labor warranties, not through refunds.

Customers may submit warranty claims for non-functioning or failed components
All systems include a manufacturer parts warranty
Some systems may include a labor warranty, depending on the selected package

Warranty coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by manufacturer and product. Customers are responsible for reviewing the specific warranty terms provided with their equipment.

Plano Heat and Air will assist with the warranty claim process when applicable.

Installation-Related Concerns
If you believe an issue is related to installation labor, you must notify Plano Heat and Air within 48 hours of installation.

Verified installation-related issues will be corrected in accordance with our labor standards and applicable coverage.

Exchanges
HVAC systems cannot be exchanged once installed.

If a change is requested prior to installation, we will revise the quote and adjust scheduling accordingly. Any price differences or restocking costs may apply.

Shipping & Delivery
Installed Systems
HVAC equipment is delivered directly to your property as part of the scheduled installation.

Plano Heat and Air does not charge separate shipping fees for installed systems. Delivery timing is coordinated with your installation date and confirmed in advance.

Equipment-Only Orders
For equipment-only purchases:
Delivery timelines will be communicated prior to purchase
Freight charges (if applicable) will be disclosed in advance
Customer is responsible for inspecting equipment upon delivery and reporting any damage within 24 hours

Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of HVAC equipment, the following items are non-returnable once ordered or installed:
Installed HVAC systems
Special-order or custom-configured equipment
Opened or used equipment
Electrical components, refrigerant-related parts, and accessories
